Julia was born and raised in Saskatoon and graduated from the Edwards School of Business with a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Marketing. She specializes in all things social media, including content creation, community building, and paid ads. Her work in this area began over 10 years ago when she started a social media-based softball community and apparel brand that she organically grew to nearly 250,000 followers across platforms using various strategies. This experience has helped her excel in organic content creation and community management for OpenSail’s clients.

Always eager to learn new things and develop her skill set, Julia has transitioned into a Social Media Ads Manager role in addition to her Content Creator role. She is Meta Blueprint certified and also certified in LinkedIn ads. When she’s not working, you can find Julia at the softball diamonds playing, coaching, or doing media. She also loves spending time with her family and going for walks along the river.
