Oakley was born in Kuwait and lived in the Philippines before settling in Vancouver with their family in 2010. Oakley has since moved to Saskatchewan to obtain a bachelor’s degree in psychology and is now one of OpenSail’s resident content creators with a previous career in education to inform their practice. Whether it’s editing videos, designing graphics, or writing copy, Oakley can always be found creating something or figuring out ways to improve their craft. 

When they are not at work, Oakley can be found either exploring Saskatchewan with their analog camera in tow, planning for the next festival to go to, or at home enjoying one of the many hobbies they have on rotation, such as speed-puzzling, tabletop role-playing games, and writing.
